Community Internet and Business Center

Community Internet and Business Center

CIBC StudentsThe Community Internet and Business Center (CIBC) is a hub for technology and education for the St. Denis community.  It not only serves as a computer lab for the students, but it doubles as a business center where members of the community can receive internet, photocopying, and other business services.  By using these resources creatively, the school will be able to generate an income through this business. The income helps offset the costs incurred by the computer department while students learn business skills as they "intern" at the CIBC.

Spotlight:  Freddie and Charles Lutaaya, Stories of Hope

Freddie and CharlesFreddie (left) is the new computer technology teacher at St. Denis.  His excitement to be a teacher is palpable and infectious.  He grew up as an orphan and knows the importance of receiving an education.  Now he is serving his community by sharing his love for technology and innovation with the St. Denis students.                         Charles Lutaaya is the Headmaster of St. Denis.  He dedicates every waking moment to the success of St. Denis and its students.  As an effective administrator, Charles not only guides the future of the school but knows the strengths and challenges of all his students.  Charles has seen several of his siblings succumb to HIV/AIDS. Both Freddie and Charles are examples of hope as they use their knowledge and experience to make life better for the children in their community.
