Transformation
Into Your Hands was born out of the desire to be of service to others. The joy we have shared through the work of Into Your Hands has transformed us and the children and families in Makondo. Smiles are broader, laughter is deeper, and happiness overflows into joy despite the daily hardships of life in Uganda. We believe that we all seek to experience the joy that comes from using our hands in the service of others.We believe that our hands are not our own, but are rather given to us as a great gift through which we transform our world and that the responsibility for making the lives of others better is placed directly into our hands and the hands of our Ugandan brothers and sisters. It is our hands working together that transform our communities through meaningful and dignified work.
We seek to give you, our donors and volunteers, an opportunity to use your hands to become transformational by being able to direct your efforts to one of the many programs and projects we have identified, by either volunteering, donating, or joining us for a voluntour (volunteer service + tour) trip.　Read on for ways you can get involved:
Volunteer
We have many volunteer opportunities that range from one time "envelope stuffing" parties to regular administrative work. If you would like to volunteer, please visit our volunteer page.
