Current Volunteer Opportunities
Give a Kid a Book Drive
Into Your Hands is partnering with the Rotary Club of Evergreen and the Denver West Rotary Club in collecting and shipping 20,000 books for rural primary and secondary schools in Uganda.
When: August 15- September 30, 2009
Community collection centers: Evergreen Life Care Center, Church of the Hills
Type of Books: Gently used fiction and non-fiction books appropriate for a child's library, primary through secondary ages. Click here for guidelines.
Donate: Cost of shipping is $0.50 per book. If you would like to donate, go to our donate page.
Volunteer opportunities: We need help sorting and packing books, picking up books from collection sites, and spreading the word! Contact us to find out more.
Christ the King Book Drive: Christ the King Church in Evergreen will host a book drive on Sept. 12 and 13, 2009. If you would like to help, give us a call.
